This futuristic world offers many Far Cry 5 like experiences, from vigilante justice to kooky sidekicks, you’ll basically be playing in Hope County 2077. 9. The Forest. The scary but brilliant struggle for survival in The Forest. The Forest is a game that is never boring.
Far Cry 5 was my second game of the franchise, after loving Far Cry 4. I bought it not too far from release thinking it'd be better than Far Cry 4 in every way. I heavily disliked it. So much so, that I completely left the game just before finishing and only came back 8 months after because I was straight up fed up with it.
I'd rate 5 the better one, but 4 isn't far behind, so you should have a great time no matter which you go for. You could always go with 4 for now and if you enjoy it 5 is just there waiting for you with more gimmicks and a gorgeous world.
Far Cry 4 definitely suffered from the 'Ubisoft formula'. Far Cry 5 meanwhile tries to focus more on interesting content, with side quests actually feeling side quests. Overall, both good games, with different strengths and weaknesses, but I think FC5 is the better game. 2.
Far Cry 5 became the fastest-selling title in the history of the franchise, more than doubling the sales of Far Cry 4. It was the second-biggest launch of an Ubisoft title, behind Tom Clancy's The Division, grossing $310 million in its first week of sales.
Personally I have dozens of more hours and playthroughs of far cry 5 than I do far cry 6 but to wrap it up. Far cry 6 has longer storyline and bigger map exploration and far cry 5 has a ton of replay value and new game + to keep repaying it and a much better perk system in my opinion.
