This simply isn't true unless you had a flying mount that had the max speed of the Beetle.I can use the Griffon on pretty much any map to get to almost any location that was designed to be reachable with any other specific mount.Now I can use the Skyscale to get to literally ANY location on any map that I want to.. even breaking out of said maps if I wish.

Step 1: Climb to an appropriately high point for the best starting altitude. Step 2: Juuuuump! Step 3: Use either the Attack skill ( Warning: this can cause the Gryphon t-pose bug) or the Mount Ability 1 to initiate a dive. Step 4: ( Optional) Use the Wing Flap ( Spacebar) during your dive to gain additional speed.
The only mount that we can sure about so far is Skyscale. Have anybody here on forum information about other mount will be available while playing in SoTO or that we can use Gliding those times our mount is getting too wounded to survive and we need to get off our mount and use Gliding to get down to ground?
